Day 1Tanger – Chefchaouen – Fes
During the first day of your trip, we will meet you at the port or airport. We will cross the mountains of the Rif and the city of Tetouan to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains until we reach Chefchouen, one of the impressive villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains. The Chefchouen medina has a Spanish style plaza surrounded by many arts and crafts, the best restaurants and cafes, where you will have lunch. You can walk through its beautiful streets painted white and blue and have a tea in one of the panoramic terraces to observe the landscape. Later, we will continue our way to Fes.
Day 2Fes – Visit of the City
After breakfast in your riad, you will begin to know the oldest city in Morocco walking through its streets and alleys. Our visit begins by visiting the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will make sure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we will visit the tile cooperative and then enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fes. Accommodation and dinner in Riad.
Day 3Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
After breakfast at your hotel, you will leave for Merzouga. The route will take us to Ifrane and the fascinating pass of Tiz Ntalghamt and the Gorges of the Ziz, you will be able to observe the views of the High Atlas plateau and see the change of landscape to reveal the tracks of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia . Afterwards, you will travel along the exuberant Ziz Valley, where stops will be made along the road to Erfoud and Rissani to see different panoramic views. Upon arrival in Merzouga we will take the traditional glass of mint tea to welcome you, followed by a camel ride that will take you to a tent camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi desert, to spend a night surrounded by the dunes and the music of the Berber drums.
Day 4 Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
We will get up early to see the sunrise show over the dunes of the Sahara before we walk our way back with the camels to the hotel to have breakfast there and a shower. Later the route will take us through the mountains of Saghro to Tinghir. We will take a short walk through the Todra Gorges before reaching the Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.
Day 5Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley towards the Kelaa Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The tour of the Dades Valley is the path of the thousand kasbahs that provides numerous opportunities to take some of the best photographic shots of the trip as well as the adjoining Valley of Roses. We will continue to the city of Ouarzazate, famous for film studios. On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs during the beginning of the 20th century, which used to be one of its stops during its long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech, now it is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The landscape will change drastically when crossing the High Atlas, finding attractive panoramic views and Berber villages all the way to Marrakech. Accommodation in Riad.
Day 6Marrakech: Visit of the city
After breakfast in the Riad, you will visit Marrakech “the red city”. We will make sure that you visit the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the famous Jemma El-Fna Square. Later we will visit the souks where we will find samples of different crafts. In the afternoon, free time will be available to tour other parts of the city.
Day 7Airport transfer
After breakfast, at the appropriate time we will accompany you to the airport where after the farewell we will finish our services.
