Day 1Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert
After breakfast, departure to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco” and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop at the hands of the monkeys. We will follow Midelt where we will have lunch. Then we will follow the Ziz river through the valley and stop to see the Ziz gorges on the way to Merzouga.

Today we are going to explore the desert region and the wonder that is the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We are going to make a circuit of the dunes of the desert, where you will have the opportunity to see the way of the nomads of life and the surprising contrasts of the desert. We will visit the “black town” of Khamlia to see the gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the old capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to watch the sunset over the dunes and spend the night at the camp in the desert. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, delicious mint tea drink, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the crescent moon in the incredible Sahara desert.
Day 3Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
After having breakfast, the camel back to the hotel in the line of dunes for a quick shower. We leave the Sahara desertdunes of Erg Chebbi, a car off the road through the hamada (black desert) to reach the city of Rissani Sahara, optional visit of the local animation market. Afterwards, we head north towards Erfoud which is known for fossils; Here we can stop visiting a fossil workshop before continuing with the impressive Todra canyons, known for rock climbing, where you can walk before we check into the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 4Todra Gorges – Roses Valley – Amridil Kasbah – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Breakfast and departure to the Valley of Dades for the «Route of the thousand Kasbahs». We will visit the Gorges of Dades, then we follow a road that leads us to the roses, thousands and thousands of roses that perfume The Kelaa M’Gouna, the most beautiful of the rose gardens of the valley where, in the month of May the festival is celebrated of the roses. Dances and cavalcades follow each other under an uninterrupted shower of petals. Did you know that it takes a ton of petals to get a liter of rose extract? We will pass through SKoura which is a large palm grove, and the state of most of the Kasbahs that were concentrated in that palm grove, are in a depleted state, the most important one is the Kasbah Taourirten ouarzazate and Amerhidil on the way to Ouarzazate. from the Kasbah and then we will continue towards Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night.
Day 5 Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Atlas mountains – Marrakech
Breakfast and departure to Marrakech, crossing the Tzn Tizka pass again, at an altitude of 2,260 meters, the “pass of the pastures”, the highest pass of the roads of Morocco. Although subjected to very violent winds, the high meadows perched on the slopes of the High Atlas serve as pastures in summer. En route we will visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is undoubtedly the best preserved fortified town (ksar). Arrival in Marrakech late in the afternoon. Transfer to your accommodation and end of the trip.
Day 1Fes – Ifran- Midelt
After breakfast we went to Midelt by Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco. We will arrive at the forest of Azrou where we will stop to enjoy watching the monkeys as they climb the cedars. Then we will continue through the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Arrival in Midelt and accommodation in Hotel.
Day 2Midelt – Merzouga
We have breakfast and we go through the valley of Ziz and its Gorges to Errachidia, reaching the city of Erfoud, famous for being the capital of fossils. Then we will go to Merzouga, where the day will be dedicated to appreciate the peace of the desert. Hotel accommodation near the dunes.
Day 3 Merzouga – 4x4 desert tour – camel trek – Night in the desert
After breakfast we will start the great dune route, passing through many desert villages, one of them is the village of Khamlia where we will stop to enjoy the music of Gnawa and then continue the route visiting the nomads of the desert in their haimas , we will discover a new sense of life … In the afternoon we will climb the camels to spend the night in the middle of the dunes under a nomadic haima.
Day 4 Erg Chebbi – Todra Gorges
We will get up early to see the beautiful sunrise and climb the dunes, then we will board the camels back to the Hotel where we will have breakfast. Then we will continue towards the Gorges of Toldra by Rissani where we will stop a little to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest in all the South of Morocco, we will continue towards the Gorges of Toldra. Night in Hotel in the Gorges of Todra.
Day 5Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate
We will have breakfast and we will walk a bit between the Gorges before continuing towards the Valley of the Dades and the Valley of Roses, that of the Oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate and accommodation in Riad.
Day 6 Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where many movies have been filmed, including Sahara. The Kingdom of Heaven, Cleopatra and Gladiator and then we will continue towards Marrakech crossing the High Atlas mountains by the pass of Tizi N’tichka. Where we can see many Berber villages and farms. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and accommodation in Riad.
